Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Ekrem Keles said that some 270000 individuals participate in the annual Quran classes held in mosques across Turkey, 2500 of whom receive memorization certificates.
In order to raise the number of Quran memorizers of the country, the department makes every effort to improve the quality of the summer classes, he noted.
The Quran classes are annually held by the Religious Affairs Department for kids and teenagers.
